We had a few hiccups involving the VA and he always stayed on top of them and worked hard to make it as seamless as possible in my end. Jon is simply the best ever loan originator I had worked with. In our case, we had to gather funds from a number of different accounts, which required tremendous amount of patience to sort things out. Jon was not only patient but always pleasant to work with. Also, towards the closing date when the appallingly incapable and petty underwriter kept throwing out random dramas, Jon made sure the communication was well managed to keep me informed of the progress. We understand the stress and anger we had was not Jon’s fault at all, because the underwriter’s horrible decisions and random actions were out of Jon’s control. I’m not sure if I will recommend First Federal Bank to anyone due to our disappointment with the underwriting process (as of this morning, we’re still working with my realtor to deal with the damage caused by this underwriter). However, I’m certainly happy to recommend Jon without any reservation.
